At CVC, we are proud to offer a multitude of in-house diagnostic, surgical and ambulatory services for our large animal clients.
For our equine patients, we are a full service equine surgery, medicine, and dentistry practice. Our surgical facility is equipt with state of the art equipment to provide orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, including colic and arthroscopy. The hospital offers a full service laboratory, Eklin digital radiography, four ultrasounds, and video endoscopy. Prepurchase/lameness, performance evaluation, wellness, and ophthalmic examinations are routinely scheduled.
Cottonwood Veterinary Clinic has a long history of providing "cutting edge" full reproductive service. Palpation, ultrasound, artificial insemination, culture, biopsy, hormonal manipulation and problem mare management services are available for the mare. Semen collection/evaluation, cooling, freezing and storage is available. Phantom training and discipline can be arranged.
Our hospital also has full dental services. Floating, extractions, and dental exams are routinely performed utilizing high speed power equipment. Painless, safe, and speedy is our goal.
For the bovine patients, we have haul in facilities to perform routine reproductive/pregnancy diagnosis examinations, bull breeding soundness exams, medical diagnostics and surgical treatments. We also welcome small ruminants and camelids. Herd health and preventive medicine programs are highly emphasized thru our consultation services. A full line of competitively priced quality vaccines, antiparasitics, and antibiotics are conveniently available at our clinic pharmacy.
With four ambulatory units we are able to visit your farm or ranch and provide many of the same outstanding services out in the field as you can expect in our clinic. Our veterinarians are on call seven nights a week to provide emergency care in-house or out in the field.
